Ashok is President - Manufacturing Business for Punj Lloyd Group with 22+ years of domestic and International experience in Manufacturing, Sourcing & Financial services covering Consumer and Commercial verticals. He is a versatile leader having extensive experience in starting business from inception, building strategy, developing and nurturing client relationships, opex optimization, and transforming businesses to deliver on financial commitments.

Ashok has extensive experience of starting business verticals from scratch in both manufacturing and international marketing with full P&L responsibility and turning them around to become profitable in a short span of time.           

A Mechanical Engineer, Ashok has a post graduation in MBA in International Marketing & Finance. He has previously worked in GE, India Forge & Tata International.
 

Heading the manufacturing business for Punj Lloyd Group, Ashok is responsible for the high-end precision manufacturing in Defence, Aviation, Energy (Nuclear, Hydro, Wind and Gas) and Oil & Gas at the Company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and systems integration facility at Malanpur, Madhya Pradesh. They are prime for defence products in land systems and aerospace components/ subsystems, as well as supplying machined and fabricated parts to OEM’s in the above industries. 
 

Ashok further scaled up the Defence business of the Group with the setting-up of a Small Arms Manufacturing Plant in Malanpur in Joint Venture with IWI of Israel. Ashok is Director on Board of Punj Lloyd Raksha Systems Ltd., the JV company.
