Dr. Guljit has a career spanning 34 years which started with international business, strategic alliances including joint ventures and domestic marketing of pharmaceuticals, polymers with leading corporates – Ranbaxy, Reliance where she has managed profit cost centers as Vice President.
She has been developing biotechnology initiatives over the last two decades as Director - Corporate Affairs for Monsanto with the first regulatory approval of ag-biotech Bt Cotton . As Sr VP Jubilant Organosys Ltd. handling Strategic Business Development and Corporate Communication was a founder member of the operating team at Jubilant Biosys and a core team member spearheading diversification of Jubilant Organosys into life sciences.
From 2005 till 2014 has been responsible for setting up and scaling the operations of leading 4 global Clinical Research organisations in India namely Kendle ;i3 Research (earlier part of United Health Group) &INC Research which have now merged as INC , the second largest CRO ; followed by Research Pharmaceutical Services ( now part of PRA ) .

By academic training she is an Economics (Hons.) graduate from Lady Shri Ram College Delhi University, and MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute (full time), Mumbai University.
She is a Post Graduate in international business from IIFT Delhi and PhD. fellow from University of Pune.
